Five years ago Sue and Simon Huang bought an old run down public house and transformed
it into a fabulous restaurant where customers could serve themselves to a range
of almost a hundred dishes.
Seated in comfort with thick carpets and attentive staff Buffet Island led the field
in buffet style dining. If you are new to this style of dining you may find that
the only drawback is deciding what to put on your plate!
Take the starters for instance, soups, ribs, won ton, spring rolls, yuk sung, crispy
duck pancakes, chicken balls in batter or the prawniest prawn toast you have ever
tasted. On to the main courses, the huge range of giant prawns, beef, chicken, duck
and pork dishes make a glutton out of the most delicate of eaters. Then a visit
to the dessert range where you can choose from gateaux, jellies, fruit and huge
fresh strawberries.
Visiting any Buffet Island Restaurant is a treat for all your senses, consistently
excellent food, beautifully presented with an atmosphere that is warm in all senses
of the word.
